The Department of Business Law and Taxation is pleased to offer the opportunity to study either Business Law/Commercial Law or International Trade Law at the Monash Centre in Prato, Italy.
These units are conducted in a three-week intensive mode and give students the opportunity to progress their degree while combining studies with travel in Europe. The overseas study experience also adds considerable value to a CV!
Business Law, Commercial Law and International Trade Law are available to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. These units are available to local or international students studying at any Australian university (students from outside Monash should check with their university regarding cross institutional enrolment and credit policies and procedures).
The under graduate units are core first year units for Business/Commerce undergraduate degrees and elective or core units in a number of post graduate courses in the Faculty of Business and Economics.
In addition, these units make a very enjoyable and practical elective for students from other disciplines such as engineering, arts, IT and science.
Prato is a picturesque and historic town in the heart of Tuscany conveniently located near Florence and close to many famous
cities in Northern Italy.
