Office of Deputy Dean International

This Office is responsible for overseeing, formulating and implementing this Faculty's international strategy. As part of Australia's most international university, the Faculty of Business and Economics takes a strategic and focussed approach to international engagement for the purpose of enhancing research, teaching and learning outcomes. The Faculty has developed extensive links with business faculties, corporate organisations and government bodies around the world, offering a range of opportunities to staff and students to develop and broaden their research and study experience.

The Faculty seeks to promote and facilitate international collaboration in research and education collaboration, focussing on the development of strategic partnerships with with key international institutions. Several partnership agreements have been established with prominent universities and government organisations including Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University, University of International Business and Economics, China's Ministry of Finance, Shanghai Municipal Government Bureau of Labor and Social Security, India Institute of Management Calcutta, Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology Business School, University of Belgrade, and the Securities Research and Training Centre in Hanoi.

In accordance with the University's international framework and procedures, this Office is also responsible for overseeing and coordinating the approval process for the Faculty's formal international linkages. Working closely with the Office of Deputy Vice-Chancellor International (ODVCI), ODDI seeks to facilitate international collaboration and support the University's international strategic plan. ODDI also provides advice and assistance to Faculty members in developing international research collaboration and academic partnerships.
