I come from the corporate sector where an organisation's ability to understand, adapt and react to changing market conditions is critical. However, of greater importance in delivering real sustainable value, is an organisation's ability to plan, drive and shape industry and market agendas.

With a background in strategy, policy and service delivery governance in regulated industries such as Banking and Telecommunications, the MPPM program offered me the ability to focus my capabilities on the niche area of Business and Government relations.

I entered the program via the Executive Certificate and found from day 1 real benefits from my studies. The real life experiences of the lecturers made the interaction stimulating. While the core program is focussed around Public Policy, its electives such as finance, strategy and HR management I also found very useful and complementary, making this an outstanding option for me.

The flexible on and off campus options also suited my evolving work commitments as often a multi year commitment to part time study can be challenging.

Now with a career objective to assume a number of non executive directorships, this formal qualification in such a critical but largely unexplored area of Business & Government relations is of great advantage to my professional future.
