Sessional teaching opportunitiesThe Department of Marketing is seeking sessional teaching staff and applications from early January would be most welcome. We are looking for people who believe that they have something to share with Australia's and indeed the world's future marketers. It is anticipated that you will have significant experience in different areas of marketing management, be a great communicator and be enthusiastic about your area of knowledge. It is essential that you hold an undergraduate degree in a business related discipline and we will look favourably upon a postgraduate degree. Sessional teaching staff may be required to prepare and/or present lecture material in a selected unit area at both graduate and undergraduate levels. There is also a requirement for the grading of both assignment work and in some cases examinations. Sessional staff will also be required to attend a faculty run induction program at the begining of the semester. The Department of Marketing is the largest provider of tertiary level marketing education in Australia with over 130 teaching staff. The Department provides undergraduate and graduate education across a range of marketing disciplines. The Department has over 1500 students enrolled in undergraduate and postgraduate programs across six Campuses and teaches across various teaching modes. To apply for sessional work, complete and submit the Sessional Application Form online. Receipt of your application is automatic. As part of your application you will also need to read the University Information Technology Use Policy and sign and fax us the IT Policy Acceptance signature form (pdf, 59kb).
