Research in Business and EconomicsThe Faculty of Business and Economics at Monash University is a significant centre of research across an extraordinary range of discipline areas. Within a number of discipline areas, the faculty is recognised throughout the world as a centre of considerable influence, at times shaping the conceptual and methodological framework of the disciplines themselves. In a great many other areas within business and economics, Monash is at the forefront within Australia, and through research, teaching and industry linkages, is making a major contribution to business and the professions. We draw on a wide range of specialist expertise, whether in the regulation of financial markets in different jurisdictions, operations and supply chain management, electronic marketing, economic reform in China, or in a great many other areas. The great strength of the research capability within the Faculty of Business and Economics is our ability to translate technical expertise of the highest order into pragmatic business and professional contexts and, in doing so, to make a real difference to the communities we serve.
